Your new companyA leading Tier 1 construction contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of education projects. Your new role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful planning, management and delivery of major education projects across the West Midlands region. Operating from locations including Birmingham, Dudley and Stafford, you will lead project teams through all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the delivery of large-scale school and education construction projects

Managing project programmes, budgets and resources

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders

Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

Providing leadership, direction and support to site and project teams

Managing project risks and driving successful outcomes from pre-construction through to handover

Reporting project performance to senior management

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience working within a Tier 1 main contractor environment

Significant experience delivering large-scale education or school construction projectsA successful track record of managing projects from inception through to completion

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Excellent commercial awareness and programme management capabilities

Enhanced DBS clearance

Relevant construction qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and NVQL6

Full UK driving licence
