Cost Verification Lead – Quantity Surveying

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating end-to-end cost verification activities for the project, ensuring contractor and supplier costs are accurately reviewed and validated
• Managing and supporting a team of cost verification professionals, ensuring quality assurance and technical leadership
• Engaging with project delivery teams, commercial managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and drive transparency
• Providing clear, evidence-based recommendations based on thorough cost verification
• Utilising strong technical expertise within major infrastructure, rail, station, or depot environments to operate effectively across Stakeholders

• Experience in cost management and quantity surveying within major infrastructure projects
• Current or previous experience in cost verification, cost auditing, and cost assurance
• Ideally, experience within the rail sector, but major construction project experience will also be considered
• Ability to lead and manage a team, providing technical leadership and ensuring the integrity of verification activities
• Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively
