We are currently looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join the delivery team on a major civils infrastructure project in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated civil engineering professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure scheme.
The Role- Supporting the Site Agent with the management of site operations.
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
- Planning and sequencing works in line with the project programme.
- Ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications.
- Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Assisting with site records, inspections and quality documentation.
- Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving construction issues.
- Supporting the Site Agent with planning, coordination and project delivery.
- Experience working as a Sub Agent, Section Engineer or Site Engineer within civil engineering/infrastructure.
- A relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on major civils, utilities, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and site delivery.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a project team.
- SMSTS and relevant site safety qualifications.
- CSCS or equivalent industry certification.
