Mechanical Contracts Manager

Commercial Refurbishment Projects | Up to £2m A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing team. The business has built a strong reputation delivering commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work based in the Midlands. Project values typically range up to £2 million, covering sectors such as commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial refurbishments.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing mechanical projects from handover to completion Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Programming works, labour planning, and progress reporting Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts Ensuring compliance with H&S and company standards Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager (or strong Mechanical Project Manager looking to step up) Background delivering commercial refurbishment projects Strong mechanical building services knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and organisational skills SMSTS / CSCS (preferred) Full UK driving licence What's on
