Role Overview This role presents an excellent prospect for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all core Quantity Surveying services on several interesting projects, for a wide range of clients. Our team work across many sectors including residential (private & public sector), commercial, mixed-use, retail, leisure, higher education and more.

Role Responsibilities To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures

Comply with established Commercial, Procurement, Contractual strategies

Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards Cost Planning including preparation of indicative cost budgets and appraisals and preparation of elemental cost plans

Running a competitive tender process including managing queries from tendering contractors

Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying Supporting formal dispute resolution process and contract close out strategy as required

Candidate Profile Qualifications Degree  qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical disciplineMRICS or membership of other relevant professional body

Experience

Experience in Pre-Construction cost planning and estimating

Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts

Strong technical delivery experience

Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner

Strong Feasibility and cost planning experience

Pre and Post contract experience of a range of schemes

Experience of providing procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services

Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accountsA track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
