Mott Mac Donald’s Advisory and Programme Delivery(APD) unit delivers both project, programme & commercial management (PPCM) services and advisory solutions across the built environment, defence, energy, water, environmental, transportation, health and care sectors.

APD delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity up to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting, digital consulting and education, health and care management.

We’re looking for a Senior Construction Consultant/Project Manager to join our Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) business to provide project management support and construction planning/constructability input across multiple sectors. The role will include holistically managing and planning project delivery, supporting design development through constructability/buildability inputs and developing construction related data and schedules. Early stage input and constructability advise is required for planning authority consultation on the UK’s most significant and complex infrastructure programmes.

Involvement will be focused on long term, high impact projects that offer the opportunity to be part of something meaningful and fundamentally shape how future UK’s major infrastructure projects are delivered.

As Senior Project Manager you will be leading and managing your own complex project or portfolio of projects on major infrastructure schemes.

Additionally, we are looking to increase our internal capability to provide construction planning support and deliver construction and logistics outputs for early stage project delivery. You’ll be central to driving project maturity, ensuring design development recognises constructability issues and constraints whilst working closely with Clients, key stakeholders, technical and commercial teams to ensure timelines, risks, and resources are all aligned.
