Site Agent

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a major civil engineering project, working with an established main contractor
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Agent with a strong background in tunnelling, underground works, heavy civils or major infrastructure
, who is confident managing complex construction activities and site teams.

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of major civil engineering works.
• Manage Sub Agents, Site Engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme.
• Manage subcontractor performance and interfaces between different work packages.
• Review and oversee RAMS, method statements, permits and construction documentation.
• Coordinate temporary works and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
• Lead short-term planning and monitor progress against the construction programme.
• Identify potential delays, technical issues and buildability concerns.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, engineering, commercial and planning teams.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a Site Agent on major civil engineering projects.
• A strong main contractor / Tier 1 contractor background.
• Experience in tunnelling, underground works, shafts, heavy civils or major infrastructure
  .
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and temporary works.
• Experience managing engineering teams and specialist subcontractors.
• Good commercial and programme awareness.
