At Acton, we don’t just make clothes; we bring stories to life. We are a kidswear brand built on a foundation of original characters and enchanting narratives. We’re looking for a visionary Fashion Designer who can take our existing lore and transform it into a collection that captures the imagination of children and the trust of parents.

We aren't looking for someone to just “sketch a shirt.” We need a creative powerhouse who can translate the DNA of our stories into high-quality, functional, and magical garments. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the garment—from the first character-inspired mood board to the final production-ready tech pack.

• Narrative Translation: Deep-dive into our existing stories and characters to design apparel that feels like an extension of the Acton world.
• End-to-End Design: Conceptualise seasonal collections, including sketching (CAD), color palette selection, and textile print development.
• Technical Excellence: Create comprehensive, factory-ready tech packs (including BOM, graded specs, and construction details).
• Sourcing & Sustainability: Select fabrics that are kid-friendly, durable, and aligned with our brand’s ethos.
• Sampling & Fit: Oversee the sampling process, conducting fit sessions to ensure our clothes are "play-proof" and comfortable.

• A Technical Artist: You have a degree in Fashion Design and are a wizard in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop).
• Kidswear Expert: You understand the nuances of children’s sizing, safety regulations (like drawstring and button standards), and the importance of soft-on-skin fabrics.
• Detail Obsessed: You know that a Tech Pack is the "Bible" of a garment and take pride in its precision.
• Storyteller at Heart: You’re excited by the idea of making a child feel like they’ve stepped right into their favourite book.
