This role involves capturing and producing engaging video content at the opening event for Tutankhamun:
The Immersive Exhibition at NEC Campus, Birmingham. The selected content creator will be responsible for filming on-site during the event, focusing on user-generated content (UGC) style videos tailored for both paid and organic social media promotion. The project requires a quick turnaround, with one social-media-ready video to be delivered by 9am on Friday, 19 June. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for dynamic event coverage and the ability to create compelling short-form content that resonates with online audiences.
- Capture high-quality video footage during the event (Wednesday, 17 June, 4pm–7pm) at NEC Campus, Birmingham.
- Produce UGC-style videos suitable for social media platforms, referencing provided style examples.
- Deliver at least one edited video formatted for social media by 9am, Friday, 19 June.
- Ensure all content aligns with the exhibition’s promotional objectives and is optimized for both paid and organic distribution.
- Collaborate with the event team on-site to identify key moments and opportunities for engaging content.
- Proven experience in event videography and short-form content creation for social media.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UGC-style video work, ideally for events or exhibitions.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality edits quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach on-site.
- Must be available in Birmingham on the event date and able to travel to the NEC Campus.
- Familiarity with current social media trends and best practices for video content.
