Content & Social Media Manager

Content & Social Media Manager London, Shoreditch £35,000-£40,000 Freelance / Fixed-term or Permanent Minimum 3 days onsite with 2 remote (London based) We’re hiring a Content & Social Media Manager for a fast-growing, design-led D2C brand. This is an ideas-led role combining social media strategy, creative storytelling and hands-on content creation. You’ll own Instagram and Tik Tok end to end, shaping the content calendar, developing repeatable formats and turning product launches, collaborations, events and behind-the-scenes moments into content people want to watch and share.

You’ll work with an in-house designer, junior marketer, photographers, videographers and external creative partners. You’ll own the idea, brief, story and creative direction. What you’ll own:

- Instagram and Tik Tok strategy, publishing, community and organic growth
- Monthly content planning across launches, seasons and brand moments
- Original social-first concepts and repeatable content series
- Mobile-first content creation
- Creative briefs for designers, photographers and videographers
- Creator and influencer collaborations
- Captions, scripts and brand tone of voice
- Social reporting, testing and creative recommendations
- Using AI across ideation, research, scripting, reporting and production
- Supporting the continued development of Pinterest

What we’re looking for:

- 1 - 3 years of social media management experience
- Strong Instagram and Tik Tok knowledge

- Experience with a design, interiors, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, hospitality or premium consumer brand - A portfolio showing original ideas and social-first storytelling
- Confidence creating content on a phone
- Strong writing and tone-of-voice judgement
- Experience briefing and directing creative partners
- Understanding of organic audience growth and engagement
- Practical experience using AI within creative and operational workflows
- London-based or nearby, with availability to work from Shoreditch at least 3 days per week This is not a pure scheduling, community management or paid social role.
