Member Support Advisor

This role is a temporary Member Support Advisor, located at Rednal, Birmingham and operating on a hybrid schedule.

• Salary: £28,706 per annum (FTE: £41,864 per annum)

  24 hours per week, Monday – Thursday (6 hours per shift)

Benefits:

You will support our Member Support Services Team by providing telephone and email advice to teachers on matters related to their employment and union membership. You will work flexibly on a rota between 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, as the service requires.

Key skills and experience include:

• Strong knowledge of employment law or teachers’ terms and conditions
• Commitment to the values and ethos of trade unions
• Excellent member care skills
• Experience providing telephone advice in a legal or employment context
