West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking a highly organised Project Support Officer to deliver key programmes and initiatives through exceptional project administration, coordination, planning and communication support.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project, programme and process management.
- Work closely with other support officers to deliver outstanding administrative project support.
- Edit, review and coordinate the production and distribution of reports, briefing documents and Cabinet/Board papers.
- Manage workstream documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Lead the set‑up of workshops, meetings and events, including agenda preparation and material distribution.
- Coordinate and contribute to the development and production of event and engagement material.
- Raise orders on the financial system.
- Experience working in a busy environment.
- Ability to coordinate complex schedules.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to perform at high standards.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Proactive, creative thinker and team player.
The role is based at 16 Summer Lane with a minimum of two days a week required in the office.
Salary and BenefitsSalary starts at the lowest advertised point with potential progression.
