You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, providing expert advice, managing orders and working closely with internal teams to ensure an outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.
The Role As Customer & Sales Advisor, you will:
Act as a friendly and professional first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and digital channels. Build strong customer relationships and provide knowledgeable advice across the company’s product range. Process sales and sample orders accurately and efficiently. Work closely with logistics, warehousing, supply chain and sales teams to manage and track orders. Resolve customer queries and issues promptly, professionally and with a solution-focused approach.
Ensure customers receive a consistently high level of service throughout their journey. Develop strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers and support sales opportunities. Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continued growth of the customer service function. About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with customers and takes pride in getting things right. You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience within a customer service, sales or account management environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach. Confidence using CRM systems, order management systems and general IT applications. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. A proactive, positive and adaptable approach. A genuine team-player mentality, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
A willingness to learn and develop detailed knowledge of a specialist product range.
Experience with in a product-led, manufacturing or design-focused environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
