A recycling post at Hunters Lane Recycling Centre, the household waste site that Warwickshire County Council runs. The work centres on sorting recyclable materials and advising members of the public on what goes where. Full or part-time hours are available, across shifts that include weekend working. Applicants must speak accurate English, as the fluency duty applies to this role.
What the job involves- Sort recycling products at the site
- Advise and liaise with members of the public on recycling
- Support the overall operation of the Household Waste Recycling Centre
- Ability to understand instructions and carry them out
- Willingness to develop a general understanding of health and safety
- Good communication skills for customer-facing work
- Accurate spoken English to provide advice to the public
