Job Overview
To work flexibly within a dental team providing high quality care to a wide spectrum of patients across localities within the integrated Dental Service BDH, CDS and mobile clinics and/or additional external sites as required to be the conduit for service-wide communication for certain specialities or a locality. This includes attendance at meetings on behalf of the Dental Matron.
Responsible for the ordering of equipment and stock ensuring efficient control of levels within one locality or certain specialities by vetting all orders and maintaining commitment accounting system. Support the Clinical Leads, Divisional Director of Nursing and Therapies, Heads of Service and Dental Matron in the financial management of the service.
Participate in the management and improvement of an integrated Dental Service to include the development of policies and protocols as appropriate.
Manage Dental Nurses and support staff at all grades including staff appraisal and development and identification of training needs. Co-ordinate post qualification training of Dental support staff.

6) with the exception of those which appear on this list - link, will not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK.
All non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Bands 7 –
9) that meet the prescribed skill level (RQF
6) and salary threshold will be eligible for sponsorship.
