Locum Dental Nurse – Birmingham Area

Flourish Medical is recruiting an experienced Locum Dental Nurse to support a well‑established private dental practice in the Birmingham area on an ad hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Nurse seeking flexible locum work within a modern private practice offering advanced treatments including implants, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation.

Location:

This role is based within a private dental practice in the Birmingham area and is easily accessible from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Walsall and surrounding locations.

• Current GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
• Proven experience working within UK dental practices
• Strong chairside nursing skills
• Implant nursing experience desirable
• Sedation nursing experience advantageous
• Experience using Dentally software beneficial
• Strong understanding of infection prevention, decontamination procedures, and CQC standards
• Professional, reliable, and patient‑focused approach
• Ability to integrate quickly into established clinical teams

• Providing chairside support during a range of dental procedures
• Assisting clinicians with implant and sedation treatments
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is ready for use
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and decontamination
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
• Accurately updating and maintaining clinical records
• Using Dentally software where required
• Working collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, therapists, and wider practice teams
