SalaryStarting at £15,000 per annum, increasing after 12 months of service.

We are temporary traffic management CAD design experts working within a variety of industries. We provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software.
As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM / 3D design and traffic modelling.

AboutThe Role Of Apprentice CAD Designer
This is a full‑time and permanent position. In this role you will gain a Level 4 Apprenticeship standard, Civil Engineering qualification and will work with the design team to develop your skills and knowledge. Typical day‑to‑day responsibilities for an Apprentice CAD Designer include:
- Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentor
- Producing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawings
- Assisting with design modifications to facilitate operations
- Making sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelines
Ensuring all paperwork is up to date - Maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated files
- Working with Lead Designers to improve skills in Brics
CAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawings - Receiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic management
- Completing all training associated with the apprenticeship

Essential Attributes For An Apprentice CAD Designer- Suitable Level 3 qualification where required and GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above or equivalent
- Driving license or taking driving lessons – road knowledge/awareness is paramount and you will be required to travel as part of your placement
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Interest in Auto Cad or similar packages
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues
- High level of accuracy
- Analytical skills
- Creative flair
- Able to generate ideas and put them into practice
- Able to work in a small team and add value by being a team player
