Senior Architect

Senior Architect – Birmingham - £60k – £70k per annum + excellent benefits

Our client is a well established Architectural Company based in Birmingham. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Architect; this is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing group on a range of residential-led development projects.

Role & responsibilities:

* Design and Planning:
Create detailed blueprints, 2D/3D models, and design proposals.

* Discuss requirements, project budgets, materials, and timelines with clients.

* Ensure all designs conform to local building laws, safety regulations, and planning permissions.

* Supervise construction sites, coordinate contractors, and manage project progress to ensure completion on time and within budget.

* Documentation:
Prepare tender applications, site plans, and contract documents.

* Problem Solving:
Resolve design issues and structural, environmental, or logistical challenges during construction

Requirements:

* Experience working within a UK architectural practice

* Part 3 Qualified

* Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations

* Design & Creativity:
Strong portfolio, spatial awareness, and artistic skill.

* Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of building regulations, planning legislation, and safety standards.

* Project management experience, excellent client communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
