Salary: £35-40,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a well-established, RIBA‑chartered architectural practice based in Birmingham. This thriving studio works across a broad range of sectors and project sizes, including hospitality, healthcare, education and residential schemes. The practice prides itself on delivering high‑quality, client‑focused design solutions, resulting in a strong pipeline of repeat work and long‑standing client relationships. The successful Architectural Technologist will have solid post‑qualification experience and strong technical ability.

Experience working on healthcare and residential projects would be beneficial, and proficiency in Revit is essential.

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist
  • Proven experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment
  • HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Membership of CIAT or working towards chartered status
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical standards
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
Role of Architectural Technologist will involve
  • Producing high quality technical drawings and supporting documentation in line with internal quality procedures
  • Managing the delivery of detailed design information, including working drawings, schedules and specifications using CAD and BIM
  • Acting as Project Manager where required, ensuring technical delivery is efficient, on time and within budget
  • Attending project, studio and site meetings to support coordination and communication across all stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with appointment documents, scopes of service and contract obligations
  • Supporting quality assurance processes and reporting technical or contractual risks to senior staff
