Location:

Salary: £34-38,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Architect to join a busy and growing architectural studio in Birmingham. This role would suit a talented design professional with a passion for creating innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. The successful candidate will possess a strong design flair, excellent visualisation skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will contribute to projects across a range of sectors, taking schemes from initial concept through to completion while developing your professional expertise and career progression.

Work scheme
The role:
* Develop project briefs into innovative design solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of Work
* Prepare planning applications, technical packages, specifications, and statutory submissions
* Coordinate and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
* Produce sustainable, compliant, and commercially aware design solutions
* Attend project meetings, design reviews, and workshops throughout project delivery
* Support project documentation, risk management processes, and quality assurance procedures
Requirements for the Architect role:
* ARB-registered Architect with approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience, including UK project exposure
* Strong design, technical, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
* Advanced proficiency in Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other visualisation software
* Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and experience producing technical information
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction legislation
* Excellent communication, presentation, and commercial awareness skills with the ability to work collaboratively
