The role of the Design Manager – Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
* Design Manager position dealing with various cladding systems such as:, wall cladding, rain screen cladding and SFS
* Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
* Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
* Ensure all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers’ latest installation guidance
* Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
* Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
* Managing a teams ranging from 6-30 designers
* Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £30m
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager – Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
* Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within rainscreen cladding and/or SFS market sector
* Experience managing design projects over £10m
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* High levels of attention to detail and organisation
* Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
* Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
