Job Title:
Associate Architect
Location:
Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning RIBA chartered practice who provide a range of design services to high-profile projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Associate Architect to lead and deliver on large scale projects for their Birmingham studio.

Duties for the role of Associate Architect include:
- Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion
- Manage and coordinate project teams, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop strong and effective relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Take responsibility for project programmes, budgets, resources and quality
- Produce and oversee high-quality architectural information and presentations
- Coordinate design information and ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, regulations and client requirements
- Support and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their technical and professional skills
- Contribute to design reviews, project meetings and presentations
Skills and experience for the role of Associate Architect:
- ARB registered
- Significant Post RIBA Part 3 Qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
- Proven experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
- Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of UK construction processes and regulations
- Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and project-management abilities
- The confidence to engage directly with clients and other project stakeholders
- Experience using Revit and/or other BIM software
- A genuine interest in sustainable design and the evolving role of technology within architecture
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
