Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Digbeth

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a young and vibrant architectural practice based in Birmingham city centre.

The practice have enjoyed a long period of sustainable growth, acquiring key additions to their talented architectural team in recent times. These strong additions to the team mean that Part 2 Architectural Assistants entering the practice will be exposed to high class mentorship and development from highly talented Architects and Senior Designers.

Sectors worked within vary and include Residential, Student Accommodation, Education and High Rise Residential schemes. You will be provided with the work necessary in order to work towards your Part 3 qualification, if this is the route that you wish to head down. Tuition fees will be taken care of and continued support and guidance means you will be developed in to a well rounded Architect when the time comes.

Part 2 Architectural Assistants with experience working within a practice environment will be looked upon favourably, ideally following your Part 2 qualification.

The following skills and characteristics would be highly advantageous for this position:

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Have the ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and construction detailing

Demonstrable design flair

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup & Photoshop (added benefit of Revit)

In return, a competitive salary in the region of £28,000-£32,000 will be on offer, alongside a generous benefits package.
