General Practitioner - Hodge Hill

Overview

The main purpose of the job is to act independently to manage a caseload of patients referred to Discharge to Assess beds (D2A), and to provide full comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to this complex range of patients. The post holder will also be required to manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

• Manage a caseload of patients referred to Discharge to Assess beds (D2A).
• Provide full comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge for this complex range of patients.
• Collaborate with the admin team to ensure the most up-to-date patient list is provided.
• Manage a caseload in a primary care setting, addressing a wide range of health needs and ensuring high standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
