Senior Clinical Fellow Stroke Medicine - Herfordshire

NHS SENIOR CLINICAL FELLOW STROKE VACANCY

We have been assigned by an NHS Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) in Hertfordshire to help them recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Stroke Medicine on a 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis.

The department has recently been designated a hub (HASU) and will increase from approximately 700 to 1,100 attendances per year. This post is available immediately on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The post holder will be encouraged to participate in audits, presentations, and teachings. Although this position is not formally recognized for training, the appointee will be supported in their training and development within the role.

Applicants must hold full GMC registration and a licence to practice. Applications from those wishing to work part-time or in a job share are welcome.

Recent £150m investment includes a new Emergency Department, Cardiology Centre (including 24/7 PPCI services), Scanning Centre, Chemotherapy unit, Endoscopy, and theatre blocks.

Full MRCP qualification is preferred but not essential. Overseas applicants are welcome; GMC registration is required.
