The SLD / PMLD Lead Teacher role involves teaching young people who are unable to access mainstream education. Many of our young people have gaps in their education and we strive to implement creative teaching strategies to reduce the impact of educational disadvantage, enabling all our young people to access learning and make expected progress.
We are looking for a self-motivated, resilient and dynamic teacher who can inspire young people and support them to thrive. You should be able to develop and support the needs of the whole child and be committed to enabling all young people to achieve their potential. You must demonstrate tenacity coupled with experience of teaching all phases. You should have QTS and further qualifications appropriate for the post.
Are you passionate about making sure every child has access to education—no matter the barriers? Do you have a talent for building trust with families and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? If so, we want you on our team.
