We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Inclusion Manager to lead reading across one of our campuses. The successful candidate will understand and promote the importance of reading, supporting pupils to engage with and develop a love of reading.

The role requires an enthusiastic and dedicated reading leader to offer pupils 1:1 or small group reading interventions and to develop a culture of reading across the campus. With reading ages spanning from 5 years to 17, a knowledge of phonics (we use Read Write Inc.), Lexia and other reading strategies are welcome and will be utilised daily – however, we will also provide all training and support for those who need it.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a current teaching assistant looking for professional development and promotion within a school role. We will offer all training and support required for those who need it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate reading interventions, including phonics, Lexia and one-to-one support.
  • Work collaboratively with the SEND team, reading lead and teaching staff to provide expert guidance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate reading assessments and intervention records.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of reading strategies, making improvements where needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in phonics.
  • Background in primary or secondary education (applications from both welcomed).
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with a passion for inclusion.
