Pastoral Administrator

Kings Norton Girls School, Birmingham, England

Contract type: Temporary (term‑time only) – full‑time (37 hours per week) until the end of July 2026, with potential extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient administrative support to the pastoral team.
  • Ensure day‑to‑day smooth operation of school processes, procedures and systems to aid pastoral functions.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and implement system improvements as required.
  • Maintain accuracy and problem‑solve within the administrative environment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Significant experience working in a busy administrative setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Experience in a school setting is not essential.
  • Essential: ability to speak fluent and spoken English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
  • Essential: enhanced DBS check and compliance with safeguarding children.
  • Essential: compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (must declare any convictions or cautions).
