A warm and welcoming 2-form entry Primary School in Bordesley Green, Saltley is seeking a talented Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time Maternity Cover basis. The role will begin February Half Term 2026 and will continue until at least the end of the academic year

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will guide pupils through a crucial stage in upper KS2, helping them build independence, resilience and readiness for the challenges of Year 6. The ideal candidate will bring strong curriculum knowledge, solid KS2 teaching experience and a genuine desire to help pupils achieve their full potential.

You will need to be:

• Excellent communicator
• Supportive and collaborative team player
• Flexible, committed and full of enthusiasm
• Confident in planning, delivering and assessing high-quality, engaging lessons

• Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs encouraged to apply!)
• Solid experience teaching within KS2
• High expectations of pupil progress, behaviour and engagement
• A creative, dynamic and reflective approach to teaching
• A passion for making a positive difference to children's lives
