Our client based in Shard End is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant for a two‑form entry Primary school. You must have at least 12 months of experience working within a primary school setting and the desire to make a difference within the classroom.

Teaching assistant work requires patience, stamina, teamwork, and a caring attitude. The role starts in January 2026 and will continue for the right candidate.

£90–105 per day

Support teaching staff and children to achieve high expectations and improve outcomes for all. Enthu­se and inspire children, work as part of a team, and go the extra mile to support pupils.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary setting
• Good oral, written and numeracy skills
• High expectations of all children
• Ability to enthuse and inspire children
• Commitment to improving outcomes for all children
• Understanding of how children learn and progress
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to go the extra mile
