About the role

As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will step into a vital role providing high-quality teaching and continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. You’ll be expected to quickly establish rapport with students, deliver pre-set lessons across various year groups, and adapt to different classroom environments with confidence and flexibility. Key responsibilities include maintaining classroom behaviour, implementing effective teaching strategies, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an adaptable and enthusiastic educator who can inspire young learners and support their academic and personal development on a day-to-day basis.

Role Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Strong subject knowledge across core and foundation subjects.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to assess, track, and support pupil progress.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of children’s needs.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
