Learning Support Assistant

Overview

ABC Teachers are looking for a patient, compassionate individual to join a SEN school in Birmingham as a Learning Support Assistant.

• Provide small group support to children with a range of SEN Needs
• Assist with tailored learning activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication and social skills
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Work alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff in the school

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role, you will:

• Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
