ABC Teachers are seeking a passionate and reliable 1‑1 Support Assistant to work in a school within a SEN school in Birmingham.
Role- You will be providing support to pupils in a classroom environment on a 1‑1 basis, academically, emotionally and socially.
- Deliver personalised, creative activities that reflect each student’s needs and interests and abilities, while adapting the materials as and when required.
- Collaboratively work with teachers and other professionals in the school setting.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive environment and support the pupils and teachers as and when needed.
- Keep up to date and informed on regular routines for the pupils in your care to provide a comfortable and consistent school day.

About you- Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desired but not essential).
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
