Position: Learning Support Assistant: Lead for Communication and Interaction Support

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join Kings Norton Girls’ School. KNGS is an OFSTED outstanding school and is a founding member of West Midlands Multi Academy Trust (WMAT). The school has a comprehensive intake and a co-educational sixth form. The post is available on a permanent, full time, term time only basis and is available as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional individual to join the team at Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form in order to open a world of opportunities for our students. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to take a leading role in our SEND team, focusing on provision for students with autism, communication and interaction needs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape inclusive practice and deliver high-impact support through in-class adaptions, 1:1, and small group interventions.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working with young people to overcome barriers to learning and will be committed to helping every student make outstanding progress.
