PPA Cover Teacher – Key Stage 2

Location: Birmingham, B8 2RA

Contract: Term-time / PPA Cover

Pay: In line with the national teacher pay scale

Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable primary teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and well-established Birmingham school? We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 PPA Cover Teacher to join our friendly team and deliver high-quality learning experiences across upper and lower KS2 classes.

We are looking for a confident, flexible teacher to provide PPA cover across Key Stage
2. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering motivating and well-planned lessons across Years 3 to 6
• Ensuring strong classroom routines and high expectations for all pupils
• Supporting pupils’ learning and progress during teacher release time
• Collaborating with class teachers and support staff
• Maintaining the school’s values of respect, ambition, and inclusion

To thrive in this role, you will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Be adaptable, organised, and confident teaching a variety of classes
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching that inspires and motivates pupils
