The Role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Support Assistant to work within a school in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behavioural support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Use a range of strategies to help pupils build self-regulation, resilience, and positive coping skills.
- Support pupils during lessons to keep them focused, engaged, and safe.
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with pupils to encourage participation and promote well-being.
- Adapt learning approaches to suit individual needs and follow personalised learning plans.

About youTo be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will:
- Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
