Alternative Provision Teacher at ASPIRE PEOPLE LIMITED
We are recruiting a qualified teacher for a secondary pupil referral unit in Birmingham. The role requires an energetic, determined teacher with strong behaviour‑management skills.
Responsibilities- Deliver teaching for classes of 7‑10 pupils, supported by Teaching Assistants.
- Ensure pupils progress at or beyond expected levels.
- Build trusting and positive relationships with pupils.
- Participate in parents’ evenings, meetings and reviews.
- Support the senior management team and maintain a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Qualified teacher (subject specification relevant to secondary pupil referral).
- Experience with alternative provision and behaviour management preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, assess and deliver lessons with limited planning time.
Location:
Birmingham, England. The role is full‑time with extensive TA support and a supportive senior management team.
It is one of the firm’s preferred centres; continuous CPD and training courses are available.
