Morgan Hunt is proud to be working with a leading Further Education college in the West Midlands to recruit an experienced Carpentry professional for a permanent Carpentry Lecturer position.

The Role

As a Carpentry Lecturer, you'll be responsible for delivering and assessing qualifications to a mix of 16-18-year-old students and adult learners across a range of Carpentry courses from Level 1 to Level
3. This includes classroom-based learning as well as apprenticeship training.

• Deliver engaging Carpentry sessions to learners at various levels
• Assess and track student progress in line with awarding body requirements
• Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and improve curriculum delivery

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• An assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Industry experience in Carpentry and Joinery
• Previous experience teaching or supporting learners is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
