We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and dedicated co-head teacher.

Sundridge Primary School offers “a warm welcome at the gate” (Ofsted 2024) and we are looking for a similarly welcoming, enthusiastic and inclusive co-head teacher who will share our ambition for our school and for all our pupils, both academically and personally.

  • The skills to lead a primary school
  • Be looking for the next challenging, but rewarding, step in your career
  • Relevant experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead

We are seeking an expert leader who will relish the opportunity to co-lead our school. You will be well equipped to address the challenges of significant change, and simultaneously recognise and embrace the opportunities it brings. As an experienced people manager, you will know how to support our school community, pupils, staff and parents, through this change and continue to improve academic standards, maximise opportunities and experiences for pupils and maintain staff wellbeing.

Your proven dedication to staff and pupil wellbeing and personal development, to quality of education and to a broad and balanced curriculum will mean every Sundridge pupil continues to develop confidence and resilience and “all children have opportunities to take on responsibilities and to contribute to their community” (Ofsted, 2024)

What we can offer you
  • An exciting opportunity to co-lead our school
  • A school to be proud of, with ambitions for all its pupils, and the ambition to maintain and improve on its “Good” school recognised by Ofsted in 2024
  • A vibrant community of pupils who take on a responsibility in school and have a good and positive relationship with their peers as well as staff
