A forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a Science Technician to support the delivery of high-quality science education across KS3-KS5.

About the Role

This full-time permanent role involves preparing equipment and materials for Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons, maintaining laboratories and supporting safe practical work.

The successful candidate will assist teaching staff during experiments, manage stock and ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

Science facilities include well-equipped laboratories and modern preparation rooms.

Requirements

Experience working in a laboratory or school science setting
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Organised and methodical approach to work
