Learning Support Assistant – Secondary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? This fantastic special school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support secondary‑aged students with complex learning needs. If you are patient, nurturing and ready to help young people thrive, this could be the perfect role for you.

Job Role:
  • Supporting students with complex needs across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Providing 1‑2‑1 and small group assistance to promote engagement and progress
  • Helping students develop communication, confidence and learning skills
  • Assisting the teacher with planning and adapting activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
