We’re looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated
Youth Mentorto join our vibrant team at a special school in Perry Barr, Birmingham, supporting students with a range of additional needs.
As a Youth Mentor, you’ll play a key role in helping our young people develop their confidence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group mentoring, help manage behaviour positively, and work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
- Previous experience working in Educational is desirable.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
