The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Chemistry
• Advanced qualifications are preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Secondary Chemistry, ideally within an IB curriculum school; however, this is not mandatory
• A strong understanding of the IB MYP & DP framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred
