Are you experienced in supporting children with SEND and ready for a rewarding new challenge? A welcoming primary school in the Winson Green area is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. You'll be working closely with a small group of children with a range of needs, providing a mix of 1:1 and small group support to help them flourish.

• Providing tailored 1:1 support to children with additional needs
• Leading small group interventions within the SEND hub
• Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development
• Working alongside the SENCO and class teacher to deliver individual learning plans
• Promoting independence in a nurturing, structured environment

• A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent within a related subject
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school or specialist setting)
• Confident working with a range of needs, including ASD and speech/language needs
• Calm, patient and resilient - with a genuine passion for helping children thrive
• Relevant training or qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, PECS, Makaton) are a bonus

• Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role.
• No day-to-day supply - full-time consistency in one school.
• A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
• Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.
• Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.

All applicants will need a valid DBS and two references to be considered for a trial day.
