Position: Maths Teacher - SEND School (Permanent)
Maths Teacher – SEND School – Key Stage 3 & 4
A specialist SEND school is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with Moderate Learning Difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Maths Teacher who wants to make a genuine difference, helping young people overcome barriers to education and achieve success in a supportive learning environment.

As a Maths Teacher in this school, you will deliver engaging, accessible and highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a strong leadership team who are committed to inclusive practice and staff development.

The Role:

Teaching Maths to small classes of KS3 & KS4 students with Moderate Learning Difficulties
Planning and delivering creative, differentiated and accessible Maths lessons
Supporting students to build confidence, independence and essential life skills
Creating a structured and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff
Monitoring progress and supporting individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Maths across KS3 & KS4
A genuine interest in working within a SEND setting
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient and inclusive approach to teaching
