Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with three Resource Base classes, set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a visionary Early Years professional to join our vibrant school community and shape provision for our youngest children. We are looking for someone who can drive excellence in teaching, learning, safeguarding, and outcomes for our incredible Early Years pupils.
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, experienced, and inspirational EYFS Leader/Class Teacher to join our school to further develop and enhance our provision and curriculum offer.
As EYFS Leader- Provide strategic leadership for Early Years, including transition from nursery settings and to Year 1
- Be an inspirational Class Teacher in Reception in the first instance with leadership time provided
- Lead the development and ongoing growth of Reception and Year 1 provision
- Further develop and embed an ambitious EYFS curriculum rooted in best practice and promoting strong foundations
- Line manage and develop EYFS staff, building a skilled and motivated team
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and inclusion
- Work closely with families and external agencies to support children’s learning and wellbeing
- Contribute actively to whole-setting leadership, self-evaluation, and improvement planning.
- Is an experienced EYFS/Key Stage 1 teacher with strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
- Has the vision, drive, and organisational skills to establish and lead our reception provision
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Is passionate about inclusive practice and early intervention
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
