As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will have a flexible and consistent schedule that you set. In this role you'll be teaching ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

You will meet with students at a set time each week for 50‑minute one‑on‑one lessons. It is important for our teachers to be reliable role models for our students who come to class well‑prepared, on time, and with a passionate and kind demeanor.

The pay rate for this position is $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.

• Provide personalized one‑on‑one instruction for students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available between 8–2 PM GMT Monday through Friday or 5 AM–2 PM GMT on the weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week.
• Access to a private and quiet location.
• Currently located in the UK.
• Passion for helping students learn.
• Approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable.
