Subject Lead Drama; Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Subject Lead for Drama to cover maternity leave from June or September 2026.

• Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
• Promote good outcomes by students, planning well‑structured lessons
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well as providing evidence of qualifications. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020), meaning certain convictions and cautions are considered 'protected' and do not need to be disclosed to employers.
