Salary: NCJ point 12 (£27,254) – 17 (£29,540) + well‑being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: Full‑time role with two shift patterns:
- Shift 1:
Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–2:30 pm and Friday 6:30 am–2:00 pm - Shift 2:
Monday–Thursday 10:30 am–6:30 pm and Friday 11:00 am–6:00 pm

An Ofsted‑rated ‘Outstanding’ school, Lift Montgomery Primary offers an excellent opportunity to join as a School Facilities Manager, playing a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure and well‑maintained every day.
Lift Montgomery Primary is an outstanding school led by a highly experienced and dedicated leadership team, with Jasmine Woodward as Executive Principal and Fozia Nisar as Head of School. Both leaders have been with the school for over 10 years and have established a committed, enthusiastic team with a strong focus on high standards, teamwork and pride in the school environment.
This has contributed to the school being graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
The School Facilities Manager plays a vital role in the day‑to‑day running of the school, ensuring that the site operates safely and effectively at all times. The role operates on a shift basis and includes responsibility for responding to on‑call call‑outs when required.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a clean, orderly environment
- Carrying out minor repairs
- Managing site security
- Overseeing on‑site contractors, ensuring facilities are fit for purpose and ready to support learning
You will have experience in premises, facilities or building management, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site security. You will be practical, organised and proactive, able to carry out general repairs, safely move equipment and follow instructions relating to equipment and materials.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel and respond to on‑call call‑outs when necessary.
