We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a dynamic and welcoming school in Birmingham from the start of Summer Term 2 (after Easter). This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to contribute to a thriving educational environment while gaining valuable experience working across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher at our school, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons that inspire and challenge students, supporting their academic and personal growth. You will also work closely with other staff to ensure the school's ethos and teaching practices are upheld, ensuring the best outcomes for all students.

This long-term position will begin immediately after the Easter break, in Summer Term 2, and will continue for the rest of the academic year and beyond. The role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development, with the potential for a permanent position depending on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Delivery:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, ensuring that all learning activities are aligned with the National Curriculum and tailored to the diverse needs of the students.

Assessment & Reporting:
Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of student achievements and behaviour.

Classroom Management:
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and encourages good behavior. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure all students can thrive.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and leadership to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning across the school.

Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate :

Experience:

A minimum of 3 month's classroom experience, ideally within a primary school setting. Experience teaching both KS1 and KS2 is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.

Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for inspiring young minds and a commitment to providing high-quality education.

Classroom Management:
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.

Communication

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Flexibility:
Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and effectively manage diverse classrooms.
